Mother's Day (Month)

Moms - they brought you in to this world and they can take you out of it.  In honor of mother's day, we're going to take a look at the scariest films we can find about mothers. 

First up is a recent film startting Jennifer Lawrance called mother! This one looks good, as it follows a newlywed couple into a beautiful country home where everything is perfect - until uninvited guests show up and hubby is just a little too accommodating. 

Second is a terrifying story about a mother who refuses to abandon her babies, Mama. I've seen this one before and really liked it, especially one scene in the middle that I'll always remember.  

Next up is Dark Water. This Japanese horror movie came out in 2002 and was remade by Americans in 2005. I'll try to watch both but we'll be reviewing the original Japanese one for the club. 

Finally, we close out May with "Ma" from 2019. This is supposed to be good and I'm looking forward to it!
