September Theme: Japan

So many great, original horror ideas come out of Japan we wanted to spend an entire month honoring the art of the Japanese horror film.

So many great horror films come out of Japan.  One of my favorite slow-burn horror movies is the difficult-to-find film Cure, which I had to hack my DVD player to watch (it was worth it).  But especially with the impending release of reboots of The Grudge and Ju-on Origins, we wanted to recognize the influence that Japanese filmmakers have had on the horror genre.  September only has 4 Thursdays, so here we go:
